Bible Reading Plans

"Thy Word is a Lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." Psalm 110:105 (ESV)

The Bible is essential for knowing God, growing in faith, and being shaped by His truth. Having a plan to read the whole Bible ensures we receive the fullness of God’s counsel, not just our favorite passages, and keeps us anchored in the big story of redemption from Genesis to Revelation.

The M'Cheyne Bible Reading Plan

Robert Murray M’Cheyne (1813–1843) was a Scottish Presbyterian minister known for his deep piety, pastoral warmth, and lasting spiritual influence despite his short life. He is perhaps best remembered for creating the M’Cheyne Bible Reading Plan, a one-year schedule that takes readers through the entire Old Testament once and the New Testament and Psalms twice.

The ESV Bible Reading Plan

The ESV Bible Reading Plan offers a structured way to read the entire Bible in a year, combining daily readings from both the Old and New Testaments (and often Psalms) to give a balanced intake of Scripture. Its design helps readers see the unity of God’s Word, stay consistent, and grow in biblical understanding over time.

Navigators Reading Plan

The Navigators Bible-in-a-Year Plan takes readers through the entire Bible in a year, offering regular readings from both the Old and New Testaments. This plan offers the flexibility of only having 25 readings a month.
