Who is the event for?
Biblical Truth for Relationships is geared toward individuals who would like to improve interpersonal skills through a biblical context in their everyday relationships. Content will address how individuals in various relationships can relate to each other. For more details on the content of each session, please review the conference schedule.
We recommend the event for ages 16 and up, and encourage parents to decide if the material presented will benefit their younger children. The teaching is presented in a lecture style and may not maintain the attention of younger children.
What's included in my registration?
Your $25 registration includes all sessions on Friday and Saturday in addition to a folder or binder containing the event outline and notes. Registration does not include meals or accommodations.
What if I can only attend for one day or need to miss some sessions?
We welcome you to attend as many sessions as possible, however, the registration amount remains the same.
What food options are available?
Water and coffee will be available during all sessions.
As an additional purchase, a meal option is offered for the Saturday lunch break. Guests who would like to purchase a lunch may do so through the "add-on" section of their registration.
Guests are welcome to bring drinks, snacks, or sack lunches. (No alcoholic options or glass containers are permitted.) A list of local restaurants is available here for guests choosing to eat out on their own.
Are children allowed in any session?
Families are welcome, but the material is most appropriate for teens and up. No childcare will be provided. If you choose to bring your children, you are responsible to care for them in a manner that does not prevent others from listening.
Are animals permitted in the facility or sessions?
As a courtesy to other guests, only certified service animals will be permitted in the event venue.
Is my ticket refundable if I cannot attend?
All ticket sales are final. If you cannot attend, you may transfer your ticket to another individual. Registrants will be checked in at the door. In the event you transfer your ticket, please notify us of the transfer by email at church@providencepres.net.
Are scholarships available?
Yes, we offer scholarship assistance. The individual requesting the scholarship is responsible for contacting us at church@providencepres.net. Please include your phone number and whether mornings or afternoons are better for reaching you. You may also call our office during office hours at 618-505-0155.
