Catechism classes for adults, youth, and children are held weekly on Wednesday evenings at St. James Lutheran Church in Glen Carbon.

Adults meet to study the Westminster Larger Catechism with Colin Hale. This study is based on The Westminster Larger Catechism: A Commentary by Johannes G. Vos.

Children and youth age 4 through 12th grade study the Westminster Shorter Catechism. Younger classes will use the book by Starr Meade, Training Hearts, Teaching Minds. Older classes will use The Shorter Catechism Explained from Scripture by Thomas Vincent.

Nursery care for children age 3 and younger will be provided.
