Rev. Scott Edburg
Pastor Scott Edburg grew up just outside Chicago, Illinois in the township of Lansing. He came to faith in middle school and sensed a call to ministry shortly thereafter. After high school, Scott attended Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL, and received a B.A. in Pastoral Ministry in 2016. After college, Scott moved to Jackson, Mississippi, and received an M.Div. from Reformed Theological Seminary in 2019.
Scott served as a Director of Youth Ministry at First Presbyterian Church of Yazoo City, MS from 2016-2019 under Dr. Charles Wingard. Scott then served as the Assistant Pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Tuscumbia, AL from 2019 to 2023.
Scott is married to Marissa, whom he met as an intern at First Church (PCA) in Lansing, IL. They married in 2017. Scott and Marissa have been blessed with two children: John Owen and Charles. When Scott is not engaged in the work of the church, he enjoys spending time BBQing, reading, and playing with his children.
