LORD’S DAY WORSHIP
October 11, 2020 at 1:00 pm
Worship of the Triune God is our most important duty. John 4:23-24 says that God seeks those who worship Him in spirit and truth. As you worship today, purpose to enter fully into the praise offered by singing, in joyful giving of tithes and offerings, in prayer, and in carefully listening to God speak through the reading and preaching of His Word. May our sovereign Lord receive glory as you actively worship Him.

Call to Worship* 1 Chronicles 16:23-27
Sing to the Lord, all the earth! Tell of his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples! For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, and he is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols, but the Lord made the heavens. Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and joy are in his place.

Confession of Faith Ephesians 2:11-13
Therefore remember that at one time you Gentiles in the flesh, called “the uncircumcision” by what is called the circumcision, which is made in the flesh by hands— remember that you were at that time separated from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
Preparation for Confession of Sin Hebrews 2:1-3
Therefore, we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it. For since the message declared by angels proved to be reliable, and every transgression or disobedience received a just retribution, how shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation?

Assurance of Pardon Titus 2:11-13
For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ…
