A Christmas Service of Joy
December 24, 2020
Worship of the Triune God is our most important duty. John 4:23-24 says that God seeks those who worship Him in spirit and truth. As you worship today, purpose to enter fully into the praise offered by singing, in joyful giving of tithes and offerings, in prayer, and in carefully listening to God speak through the reading and preaching of His Word. May our sovereign Lord receive glory as you actively worship Him.

Lullay, Thou little tiny Child, By-by, lully, lullay.
Lullay, Thou little tiny Child, By-by, lully, lullay.
O sisters, too, how may we do For to preserve this day,
This poor Youngling for whom we sing, By-by, lully, lullay?
Herod, the king, in his raging, charged he hath this day
His men of might, in his own sight, All children young to slay.
That woe is me, poor Child, for Thee! And ever, morn and day,
For Thy parting neither say nor sing By-by, lully, lullay.
Scripture
Micah 5:2-5

“Infant Holy, Infant Lowly”
Choir
Infant holy, infant lowly, for his bed a cattle stall
Oxen lowing, little knowing Christ, the Babe is Lord of all
Swift are winging angels singing, Noels ringing, tidings bringing,
Christ the Babe is Lord of all.
Flocks were sleeping, shepherds keeping vigil ‘til the morning new.
Saw the glory, heard the story, tidings of a gospel true.
Thus rejoicing, free from sorrow, praises voicing, greet the morrow:
Christ, the Babe was born for you.
