”Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing.

To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb, blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.”

Welcome and Announcements

Introit                                                                                         Adult Choir

“O How He Loves You and Me”

O how he loves you and me,

He gave his life—what more could he give?

O how he love you and me!

Call to Worship*                                                 Psalm 108:4-5

Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to Your name give glory

Because of Your lovingkindness, because of Your truth.

Why should the nations say, “Where, now, is their God?”

But our God is in the heavens; He does whatever He pleases.

...But as for us, we will bless the Lord from this time forth and forever. Praise the Lord!

Hymn of Praise*

“Guide Me, O Thou Great Jehovah”

Invocation*

Confession of Faith                            Westminster Confession of Faith

Ch. 8. #4-5

  1. This office the Lord Jesus did most willingly undertake; which that He might discharge, He was made under the law, and did perfectly fulfill it; endured most grievous torments immediately in His soul, and most painful sufferings in His body; was crucified, and died, was buried, and remained under the power of death, yet saw no corruption. On the third day He arose from the dead, with the same body in which He suffered, with which also He ascended into heaven, and there sitteth at the right hand of His Father, making intercession, and shall return, to judge men and angels, at the end of the world.
  2. The Lord Jesus, by His perfect obedience, and sacrifice of Himself, which He through the eternal Spirit, once offered up unto God, hath fully satisfied the justice of His Father; and purchased, not only reconciliation, but an everlasting inheritance in the kingdom of heaven, for all those whom the Father hath given unto Him.

Preparation for Confession of Sin                  Ephesians 4:25-29

Therefore, laying aside falsehood, speak truth each one of you with his neighbor, for we are members of one another. Be angry, and yet do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and do not give the devil an opportunity. He who steals must steal no longer; but rather he must labor, performing with his own hands what is good, so that he will have something to share with one who has need. Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear.

Assurance of Pardon                                             Ephesians 1:3-6

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.

Hymn of Assurance*
