Round the Lord in glory seated, Cherubim and seraphim

Filled His temple and repeated each to each the alternate hymn:

Chorus: Lord Thy glory fills the heavens,

Earth is with Thy fullness stored;

Unto Thee be glory given, Holy, holy, holy Lord!

Heaven is with Thy glory ringing, Earth takes up the angel cry,

Call to Worship*                                                 Psalm 100:1-3

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Invocation*

Confession of Faith                          The Apostles’ Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended into hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church,
the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life  everlasting.

Amen.

May the grace of Christ our Savior

And the Father’s boundless love,

With the Holy Spirit’s favor,

Rest upon us from above.

Thus  may we abide in union

With each other and the Lord,

And possess, in sweet communion,

Joys which earth cannot afford.
