We believe the Bible is God-breathed, inerrant in the original manuscripts, and the only infallible rule of what to believe and how to live. (2 Tim. 3:16, 17; 2 Peter 1:20, 21; Matt. 4:4)
We believe there is only one God who is eternally distinct in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, who are of one substance and equal in power and glory. (Dt. 6:4; Matt. 3:16, 17; 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14)
We believe all people are sinners in the sight of God, justly deserving His displeasure, and without hope except in His sovereign mercy. (Rom. 3:10, 19, 23; 6:23; Eph. 2:1-3)
We believe salvation is by the grace of God alone; that in eternity past God chose a people to be holy and blameless in His sight, that in time He calls, regenerates, justifies, adopts, and sanctifies them, and that at their deaths or at Christ’s return, He will glorify them. (Eph. 2:4-9; Rom. 8:29, 30; 9:11-24; Gal. 4:4-7; Phil. 2:12, 13; 1:21-23; 3:20, 21)
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who for the salvation of His people took to Himself a real human nature, and so remains fully God and fully man forever. It is Christ’s sinless life and sacrificial death which are the sole grounds of a believer’s acceptance with God. (Jn. 1:1-3, 14; Heb. 2:14-17; 2 Cor. 5:21; 1 Jn. 4:10; Gal. 3:15, 16)
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells all believers in Christ, enabling them to continue trusting Christ as their Savior and following Christ as their Lord. (1 Cor. 6:19; Rom. 8:9-11; Gal. 6:16-25)
We believe God extends the promises of salvation, which are received by faith alone in Christ, not only to His people as individuals but as families in successive generations, and to all whom the Lord calls to Himself, according to His covenant. (Gen. 17:7; Jer. 32:39, 40; 1 Cor. 7:14; Lk. 18:15, 16; Acts 2:39; 16:15)
We believe Jesus Christ will return bodily and visibly to judge the world in righteousness and usher in the New Heavens and New Earth. (Acts 1:11; 1 Thess. 3:13; 5:23; 2 Thess. 1:10; 2:1; Rev. 20:11-14; 21:1-22:20)
We believe all aspects of our lives are to be lived for the glory of God under the Lordship of Christ. (1 Cor. 10:31; Col. 3:17)
